Users can send friend requests from member profiles with a simple "Add Friend" button. Once sent, requests appear in a dedicated "Friends List" page, where users can view pending sent/received requests and manage friendships.
Recipients receive notifications for new requests, acceptances, or rejections, displayed via XenForo’s alert system.
Accepted requests establish mutual friendships, stored in the database, and users can remove friends anytime.
