Post links - Allows staff to easily monitor links added to post...

Nice little utility, this one.

From the description: it’s aimed at helping staff keep track of links that users add in posts, so you can more easily spot:

  • Spam / self-promo links
  • Affiliate or referral links
  • Potentially malicious URLs
  • Posts that need moderating or editing due to outbound links

Typically, addons like this will either:

  • Log all new links into a separate log/list (often with filters like date, forum, user)
  • Expose those links in a dedicated ACP page or a front-end moderator-only page
  • Possibly add alerting or approval workflows when certain criteria are met (e.g. new users posting external links)

If your staff struggles to keep up with users dropping links all over the place, this can save a lot of manual searching, especially on busy forums.

If you’re unsure about compatibility or exactly where the links are shown (front-end vs ACP), it’s worth checking the resource page screenshots and the “Updates” tab, or asking the author directly in the discussion thread.
